When Love is About Growing Together
It’s funny how love chances upon us. Sometimes when the stars just align together and sends a love angel down to earth and shoots its arrow on two individuals; it’s when we least expect it. But honestly, when do we really think that it is love, when we don't feel or experience it ourselves…until we actually do.
Let's just say that Leni and Lintang were two individuals who happened to have that one split second of chance where the arrow from the angel tied them together. They call it one in a million, but really, it’s called love blooming in action. In 2018 when they met by chance, it wasn’t love at first sight. But the attraction between those two brought them closer. It didn’t take long before they realize that they had something in them to want to make it official. Their love grew every step of the way; and in June 2019, they established their commitment with their engagement.
Even during this unfortunate pandemic, the attraction between Leni and Lintang kept on growing. They had the opportunity to cook for each other, try new activities, and stay cozy and comfortable in the comfort of their own homes. Who knew that this pandemic is a blessing in disguise? Even when everyone is so scared to go out of their homes, they decided to continue with their photo session with us! When all the other wedding planning was disrupted or delayed, they knew they have to keep on going and growing and it was definitely shown in our photography sessions. Nothing is going to stop them from pursuing their growth as a couple. As Toni Payne says, “Be with someone who wants to see you grow”.
During the 4 hour session and pre wedding, we felt that their love is so strong that we were amazed that it wasn’t love at first sight. They felt so comfortable being with each other; it was as if they have met when they were kids and dated all the way. The photographers who knew them beforehand were even surprised by how easily they just fell into place. They say a picture tells a thousand words; and the pictures that the Kairos team took just say how much they have grown to love each other. Leni knew that her future husband will help her overcome her shortcomings to be a better person; and Lintang knew that his future wife will continuously drive him forward even during the hardest times. If the angel from heaven knew that these two would be such a tremendous couple, he would be proud to have shot that arrow. Just like how the Kairos team was blessed to have taken the moments of love between these two unlikely couple.
