Two different individuals. Two different characters. United into one as a couple.

I always love to see the uniqueness of each couple. Every couple is always a fresh fairytale to read. How they met. How they express themselves. How they spend time together. Sometimes, even how they argue.

These combinations of personalities are sometimes transferred into their pictures, and in my opinion, it’s as if they are introducing themselves to the world.

One of my favorites is Harwin and Elise.

Usually, when a couple is brainstorming on their pre-wedding session, it will always take place in a grandeur location, with luxurious costumes, and elegant poses for the camera, masking their true colors. I, too, am guilty of it. Kind of. But when I see pictures of Harwin and Elise’s pre-wedding, it feels like I kind of know them a little bit.

I see a man and a woman united by food.

Just kidding!

I see simplicity. It’s the little things that make them happy. Like eating _bakmie_ on the side of the road with _gerobak_, in t-shirts, shorts, and jeans. And those pictures reflected true happiness on their faces.

Now tell me the truth. In your entire life, when someone asks you, “Where do you want your pre-wedding session to take place,” will you answer “On the side of the road eating _bakmie_?”

It didn’t cross my mind either. But it’s refreshing to see such a simple theme, a simple place that we see everyday, and yet never crossed our minds. Their simplicity brings a smile to my face. I love scrolling through their pictures and getting to know them, even just a little bit.
