As I write this blog post, my heart is filled with joy and charmed with peacefulness. I can still hear the cheering and laughing of people inside that crowded room. I can still remember the heartwarming smile and the wishes from the colleagues as they witness the wedding kiss. I can still hear the beating taps of heels and shoes on the floor as people dance to the music. And I am still touched by the look of their families as they witness the exchange of their vow. All these beautiful emotions still covered me like it was yesterday.

Yes, Iqbal and Ellen's wedding is one of those wedding that I will never forget. It is not about the decorations, or the color palette they've chosen. It's not about all the peonies and carnations beautifully hanged on every corner of the room. It's not even about the beautiful white lace dress and a bold sleekly suit that they wear gorgeously that day. It is about their love, their true love that you can easily feel and be mesmerized.

Am I over saying ? No I'm not. I must say, Iqbal and Ellen have already planned every detail of their wedding to be unique and beautiful. Long before the day, they told us how they have prepared the venue, the flower arrangement, the booth, the bouquet and boutonniere, and the hand gifts. They have chosen a very beautiful garden with a beautiful tree right in the center of it to be the place for them to exchange their wedding vows. When I heard it, I know for sure that this wedding is going to be very beautiful.

But when the day came, heavy rain showered all day, and it means we cannot use the garden and the wedding had to be moved into the room. During the makeup, I watched Ellen keep holding her phone and checked for the weather report over and over again, hoping that the rain will stop and we can still managed to have the wedding in the garden. But the weather reports said the opposite.

Honestly, I felt heartbroken too, because I knew how they have prepared everything. I started to pray for miracle to happen, for the rain to stop, and I am sure everybody prayed for the same thing, but the rain was only heavier and heavier.

But this is that what I want to tell you. At that time, I saw Iqbal came slowly to Ellen. He hold her hands softly and say comforting words in the most gentle way to cheer her up, to make her feel better. And it didn't take long. I saw Ellen looked away from her phone, stared back at him, and gave the most beautiful smile, the smile of a bride.

All the rest, the wedding, as you see in these pictures, was beautiful, and filled with joy. I cannot stop pressing the shutter, there are too many laughter and joy to be captured.

I understand, for many of us Miracle means an incredible surprising moment that happen magically, but that day, I witness the untold miracle. The untold miracle that there is a person that God allowed to be there with us, to be our shelter from any kind of weather, and to be our partner to spend this wonderful life together, and how this person can bring so much happiness just by holding our hand, comfort just by whispering to us, and peace just by embracing us.

So, there is actually no reason for us to not experiencing miracles in our life. We just have to know where to look.

Congratulation Iqbal and Ellen. We are so happy for both of you.

Regards
Artha
