“The Forbidden Language of Love”
There are so many languages in the world that is being spoken today; with more and more people being bilingual or even trilingual. But there’s a language that is so seldom taught that it is very hard to master or even speak and that is the language of love. Luckily for Tandra and Zela, they managed to learn this sacred language together.
Tandra and Zela first met when they were in China trying to learn the difficult language of Mandarin. Again, two Indonesians in a foreign place bring them closer through the shared language of Bahasa Indonesia. Asides from sitting in the same class together, they also shared most of the time outside of it together too. Of course, it’s not just the two of them as there were so many others in the class. But only the two of them started to communicate differently; and that is through the language of love. Ironically, Tandra never asked Zela to be his girlfriend when they were in China as he was too focused on learning Mandarin. He only asked her when they were back home in Indonesia; but Zela knew – there’s no way she could say no.
The sacred language of love has its own dictionary and plenty of vocabulary that allows the couple speaking it creates their own spark. And that is exactly what happened during their pre wedding shoot with the Kairos team. Words may not be spoken but their closeness to each other was shown clearly in their poses and our pictures. Let’s just say that they were able to communicate this language through their eyes as their gaze for each other was just fascinating to capture. The language of love is indeed strong with these two. Many couples would be envious that they are able to master this sacred language so easily.
Even during this pandemic, they managed to stay strong and not let their relationship waver. It was a tough moment for all, but through their love; they have easily overcome the tense moments of having to think about the bigger family and their special day. They knew that it was worth sacrificing moving back their big day for the stronger future of their love. After all, love is a language that is unpredictable and also something that is uncontrollable. Fortunately for Tandra and Zela, they have each other to count on and keep on adding to their dictionary of love.
