As it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared."
Our meeting is kind of like that old saying.
Adi and I spent most of our time in Singapore. Although we knew each other, we've never actually met, until Adi returned to Indonesia to manage his business.
One day, I received a call from one of my clients who wanted to buy a property in Singapore and I had to accompany him and give him the best offer. First I thought that this will be just another casual business meeting. It turned out that my client asked his friend to accompany him to this meeting. And that friend, as you may have probably guessed, was Adi. And that was our first meeting.
I have to say that I didn't get the deal with that client. But who would have expected that I (the one who was supposed to give the best offer) actually received the best offer.
Knowing Adi and being on his side are the best times in my life. Despite him being an extremely well planned and organized person, I find him far from boring! In fact, he is one of the nicest people I've ever met.
This Japan trip is actually one of our dream trips, but I didn't expect that this dream will be accomplished soon because our busyness. But when I told Adi about this, he was more than happy to make this trip possible, managing this and that. This is just an example of the little things he does that makes me fall in love with him every single day. *wink
