To some people, first impressions stick. To others, they’re merely a FIRST impression. Julia was introduced to Cliff in Ikkousha by a mutual friend (which was their matchmaker by proxy).

Who doesn’t remember the awkwardness of first dates? A million things are running through your head so that you can leave an impression. Cliff and Julia was no different. Awkward first date - the classic movie theater~

No. It’s not what you think. Cliff didn’t pretend to yawn and wrap his arms around Julia. It's a tad more awkward than that. They were going to watch the movie Habibi Ainun with another friend. Unfortunately, the theater was packed that day, so they had to sit separate! On their first date!
“At first, he was totally not my type. My type of guy is tall, tanned, and has a little bit of edge on his appearance. But I got guy who’s pale-white, petite for a guy’s size, and a baby face.”

But all first impressions aside, they clicked in every way like lego blocks, which happens to be one of their favorites by the way. And that’s all that matters!
