Who doesn’t want to display their favorite things on their coffee table? For example, Japan. Ricky and Shirley love Japan, particularly Osaka, the place where they had their pre-wedding photoshoot.
Going straight to the bright heart of Osaka, Dotonbori, where colorful mercantile buildings transform into an extravagant cluster of neon lights. This transformation was the biggest inspiration for Ricky and Shirley’s Lovebook. A wooden packaging with the idea of a framed canvas, a hand-painted scenery of Dotonbori, which glows in the dark, mimicking the real scenery of nighttime Dotonbori.
By now, you probably won’t be surprised if I tell you that Ricky and Shirley are the pieces to complete each other’s puzzles. Sliding out of the canvas frame is the actual album, with a wooden cover engraved with completed puzzle pieces. Their names, of course, engraved and glow in the dark to add to their album’s wow factor.
As you open their Lovebook, you are introduced to a hand-painted portrait of the lovely couple. Flipping through the pages, we travel with them all around Japan, ending with more hand-painted portraits of them both in Kimonos, with a little message to each other in Japanese.
