Love Through The Waves
Love is like a waterfall. It humbly begins as steady streams of waters. The wide expanse of the sea goes beyond the horizon that our eyes are too narrow to see. We can only feel it coming yet we can only give in to it. It’s the way the strong current fills our senses and our heart takes over. Love happens suddenly when we expect it the least.
Johnny and Lisa’s love story started modestly. Both of them were strangers living in their own part of South East Asia separated by vast body of water; not knowing that the best journey of their lives was about to begin. Johnny is an Indonesian man, however his place of work was located somewhere in Vietnam. Lisa was a cheerful make up artist based in Jakarta, Indonesia. During one of Johnny’s trips home, he was introduced to Lisa by one his coworker’s cousin in Jakarta.
They embark on their journey with distance as their obstacle. Love is commitment. Johnny would cross the sea to meet Lisa once every six months without cease. Their calm demeanor add to their advantage in this scenario. Emotions don’t get the nest of them. Mind over matter is the name of the game. When you love someone, the variables do not play even the smallest part. But when they meet, a flawless picture is complete. It’s a picture filled with adoration, bliss and strong allegiance.
Like a raging waterfall, Johnny and Lisa do not brag of their affection in public. Every moment together is sacred and shared by just the two of them. One thing is for certain Johnny would give whatever Lisa’s heart desires. Whatever he does it’s to bring a smile on her face. Real love lays down his or her own ego and comfort for the joy of our loved one. When a love is real, it realizes who it belongs to. Johnny knew that Lisa’s heart is where his heart would reside. Not long after they started dating, Johnny couldn’t contain his desire to live for eternity with Lisa. Very early on he started asking when is the day he could call her his wife. He fell. He fall hard to the waterfall of love. He was powerless to the beauty that is Lisa.
Today, Lisa has made Johnny’s dreams come true. To eternity and beyond will he call her his wife. Wherever the ship of life will take them, home is in each other’s loving arm.
