Love At First Swipe

Jonathan and Febianti is the epitome of modern day fairy tale that displays a lot of attribute of old school love. It’s kind of like the movie You’ve Got Mail, but better! How they met is always a great icebreaker and a conversation starter. It was love at first swipe, but not the old fashion way. It was match made on line. One word, six letter, a sea of possibilities of a happy ending: Tinder!

It started out with a fantasy of becoming a success story and bravery of two lovers in desperate need to find each other. Their meeting was fate. It was as if they were linked by a spiritual connection when they both swiped right. When the heart skips a beat and casual short conversations online turn into actual frequent coffee dates. It became something real. God must have been thinking about Jonathan when he made Febianti.

It’s pure mystery how two people were strangers but became soul mates the moment they mutter the first words. Hours and hours of conversation just flew by without notice when catching up on the yesteryears they have missed. Every date would conclude with a promise of never missing out on the future that they are going to type together.

Jonathan and Febianti only dated for a year. To the outside world, their personalities may seem to be the complete opposite. But rumor has it. Opposites do attract. And the heart feels what is invisible to the world. The heart knows whom it wants. It beats in the rhythm that complements its counterparts. Together they create a harmoniously composed piece of art. When there is confidence in knowing that your destiny is right there in front of you, you would not want to wait another day either.

Jonathan and Febianty have taught us the importance of having a childlike faith to be able to fall in love. Faith in trusting that your prince charming will stay true to who he is and be your dream come true. They also taught us to live carefree of the judgment of society. Who says love can only happen a certain way. Love is everywhere. Love is always available to those who dare to embrace mystery and trust in the many eccentric ways of love. The way they look at each other’s eyes on their wedding day lets us know that what they have is real. We’re so glad they swiped right!
