Johnny and Lisa are true lovers of the rustic theme. The moment we first sat down for a brainstorming session, Lisa’s only request was, “I just want our love book to be rustic! As rustic as can be, the more rustic the better.” Reminiscing back at their wedding in Bali, her request seems so authentic to their taste.

Upon further brainstorming, we came up with the farmhouse concept while still carrying through the rustic theme. A combination of soft beige and brown hues dominate Johnny and Lisa’s love book. At first glance, the exterior of the love book will look like a window, but when you open the handles, you will discover the love book is living inside the window.

Love is in the details. We just simply can’t get over how gorgeous Lisa looked holding the bouquet on her wedding day. So we incorporate those flowers at the bottom of the window opening and also in the packaging of the love book. We tried to honor their love of the rustic theme by staying true to their gorgeous rustic décor on their wedding day.

A window is a special object. Though it speaks no words, but its existence communicates many things. In this case, it acts as a time travel device that take Johnny and Lisa back to their happiest moment. The day they said, “I do.”
