It Takes Two to Tango
The tango dance, an elegant yet energetic style of dancing that is able to blend a mixture of culture and forms into synchronized movements that make viewers who witness the dance go ecstatic. Dancing Tango alone can be entertaining to watch but one has to find the right partner to be able to make the movements complete and be able to make moments for people to remember who the two dancers are. The partner does not have to be equally skilled or have the same temperament; they just need to be in perfect sync with each other - just like how Adrian and Hanna are.
It can be said that Adrian and Hanna are definitely not similar in any way personality wise. Adrian is the more laid back of the two but leads the way like how the male dancer should be. He takes the steps seriously and does so strictly to make sure that there are no mistakes when they are in motion. But his trust in his partner to make the show a success can be seen by his willingness to give Hanna an important role in making the decisions when it comes to their wedding planning. Hanna who is more cheerful in nature glides perfectly to accommodate Adrian’s wants and requests. Every step that Adrian takes, Hanna would be there to make sure that it is countered perfectly; that’s when beautiful moments were created between the two. Moments that is also memorable to many.
Like when they took their pre-wedding pictures with us, it was obvious that they were perfectly in sync. It was very easy for them to choose the place which ended up being in Labuan Bajo. Although they had to climb up to the peak to get the best view, it was a challenge since they have been taking pictures the whole day on the base. Adrian was quick to mention the strength needed to overcome this hill climb but instead of arguing or complaining that they needed to go up the hill, Hanna took the time to listen to his thoughts and worked on how to overcome the challenges together. It was a moment of beauty witnessed by the Kairos team; how they two were able to operate in such harmony.
Their different temperament did not deter Adrian and Hanna in making beautiful moments in Labuan Bajo. In fact, it’s what made the session and experience a much more enjoyable one for all. After all, it requires two to tango.
