Good Different
Have you ever met a person who exudes such radiant, positive energy that magnetize you to them the moment you first met them? That person is always active, moves on from one task to the next without skipping a beat and of course with a smile on his face. Well, we surely have. I am talking about one of our most bubbly clients: Bambang.
First impression is everything. What we could conclude from our first time meeting him was he always has a really good attitude towards whatever it is that comes his way. He always sees the glass half full instead of half empty, always face adversity with a little bit of humor.
Speaking of humor, in life God doesn't give us what we want, instead He gives us what we need. A few moments after we met Bambang, we also met with Bambang’s fiancé: Fetheresia. Different doesn't even do justice of how opposite their personalities are from each other. Bambang is this full of life, full of energy type of person. Fetheresia, on the other hand, is this demure woman whose persona resembles that of a goddess.
However, different is not a bad thing. Sometimes different is needed to achieve balance in relationship. Differences allow us to see through various lenses to accomplish the best outcome. This is the dynamic of Bambang and Fetheresia. She seems to have this instant calming effect on him that allows him to steer away from making unwise decisions. For instance: they could be deciding where to eat. Being a man, Bambang naturally will opt for something fast, heavy and fulfilling. Although comfort food is soothing, it might have a negative impact on our over all health. That's when Fetheresia comes in and saves the day. “I think it’s better if we go for salad today,” is how she would gently remind him to make better choices regarding his diet. And at that very moment, Bambang would instantly change his mind and go for Fetheresia’s recommendation. Because he knows she has his best interest at heart.
The way we love comes in many different ways. Love could act as a cheerleader that push us forward towards our dreams. Love can also be that force of serenity that guards us from harm. Love tells us the truth no matter how much truth is hard to digest. And that’s how Fetheresia loves Bambang, as a guardian angel that would always protect him everywhere they go.
