Daebak!
These days pre-wedding shoot is an essential part of wedding planning. Every couple has their own dream destination and vision that they want to go to on their photo shoot session. Fadly and Wina have dreamed of their pre-wedding photo shoot for months on end. Korea was their dream destination.
Commonly couples and photographers alike would spend endless moments praying fervently for cooperative weather so the shoot would go on as planned. But there’s just something exciting about expecting and dancing together with the unknown and the mysterious circumstances that are simply out of our control. The ever-changing weather is one of the things that are simply above us. No weather forecast will ever be accurate enough to warn us of what’s ahead.
Fadly and Wina’s photo shoot began as they had hoped for: awesome weather, awesome flow, awesome everything. However towards the end of the session, the sky began to change its face: from bright to slightly gloomy. Tension ran high as there was still one more spot that they wanted to take pictures at. For a brief moment they feared that the rain would ruin their plan and prohibit them from taking more pictures.
A few moments after the sky went dark, it started to pour heavily. Understandably, the sudden change of weather did bring them down a tiny bit. However they took cover, gathered themselves and remind each other of what’s most important: the fact that they can enjoy the rain together.
The shoot resumed in the rain. Fadly and Wina decided to make the best out of an uncontrollable situation. Under a clear umbrella they held each other tight, looking into each other’s eyes for a moment as if having a conversation that only both of them could hear. They got closer and closer. A kiss was shared between the two of them that instantly warmed the coolness of rainy Korea. How did the picture turn out you ask? One word: DAEBAK!
There is beauty in uncertainty. It is only human nature that we judge a situation too quickly without considering what’s really important in life. However, the best results often come out of seemingly unfortunate situations, if we could just change the lens we see with. What Fadly and Wina demonstrated was true maturity that only lovers could share. When a love is so strong, it goes beyond boundaries, beyond the most wavering situations. Because the lens they see with transforms the bad into a moment full of potential.
