"I always prayed that I would be given a man that I’d need, and not just one I’d want."

Just like all the girls in the world, Pinky has her own dream wedding - the day that she would walk down the aisle with her true love. But as time went by Pinky learned that God knows the best for her. She changed her prayers and asked God to give her the man that she really needed.

"And then I met Charlie. A few months of dating, I realized that what I needed in a man, I found in him. And this man doesn’t just complete me. He stood by me through every season, and even during the rough patches of our journey, he loves me just the same."

They met at a charity event in 2010. Charlie and Pinky were just good friend at that time. It was all ordinary, nothing special. But something beautiful came across their friendship. Pinky never thought that Charlie would be her other half. So did Charlie. He realized that the more he knew Pinky, the more he was amazed by her character. On Charlie's birthday in 2013, God gave the most precious gift for Charlie, the day they made a vow to each other. The more Charlie got together with her, the more he convinced that Pinky is his future.

But no love stories come without any obstacles. Charlie and Pinky had to face a long distance relationship.

"Ever since the seas separated us, my days became longer. I lived for the days you flew in to see me.
It didn’t matter how we were spending the day anymore, for as long as I was with you, I was a happy little kid."

Pinky knew that a meeting wasn't easy. It requires big efforts to let go of yearnings. The same goes with Charlie. But no matter what happened, wherever they were, there was nothing that could make them to stop waiting. Every single day that passes was a day closer for them to meet. A wait is not something pleasant, but a couple that has such strong bond will definitely get through it. How beautiful it would be if every story has a happy ending!

"It’s been a while since we’re together. I’ve seen you getting all moody, I’ve seen you annoyed and irritated, I’ve seen us in arguments and different stands. But I just want you to know that: Despite all, I’ll still choose you, and to be with you. I’ll still choose to commit myself to you. I’ll still choose to be true, and to be all for you. For I know that at the end of the day. No matter what happens, you are the home I come back to. The shoulder I lean onto. For I know that I love you, and that you love me too."

Charlie and Pinky knew very well that nothing is a coincidence. God has planned their future. And the one thing that they want the world to know is never stop believing in prayers for even a day, it could be the "Kairos" to meet someone to love for the rest of your life.

"God didn’t give me my prayer answer. He gave me better. And for that, I am forever grateful."
