Little White Church
Andhika and Meilissa’s Lovebook looks simple in the most magnificent way. At a glance, the vessel that the actual Lovebook lives in resembles a little glass house straight out of a children’s book illustration. The glass house is seated in glass drawer that stored Andhika and Meilissa’s invitation and wedding souvenir. If you open the little white door, you would see a garden like scene: grass floor, miniature trees, tiny pots filled with tiny white and pink flowers, and a table placed in front of a light wooden panel that says their names on it.
Yep, you guessed it! We were trying to mimic the church where they were first pronounced husband and wife. And what looks like a regular background camouflaged as a wooden panel wall is actually the Lovebook itself. The content of the Lovebook is kept simple: filled with colorful and solemn moments from their wedding day.
A Lovebook is special as it housed memories of moments when our dreams came true. So what better way to keep those memories alive than to build an actual glass house to keep your Lovebook? That way when they glanced over it, they’ll be transported back to that moment in the little white church where they said “I do”.
